College of Business and Finance provided some seminars in specific interest areas in business, each of the speaker are possess experience in business area. College of Business and Finance highlights two of the seminars and share the key points of them.
Digital Quotient
In Digital Generation, “Digital Quotient” Seminar on Open Space! The speaker, Brian, has discussed the relationship between technology and accounting.
By using the “Natural Language Processing” (NLP), “Chatbot” understands your idea and communicates with you. The topics of “Image Recognition” and “Predictive Analysis” have been mentioned as well.
For example, by using the accounting software, data can be manipulated and can be checked with bank, and you no longer need to perform a bank reconciliation.

HKU SPACE was glad to invite Mr. Andrew Leung, Senior Manager of Emperor Financial Services Group, to deliver a related topic named as 2018 The Best Forex Selection on 2nd June 2018. Based on his over 20-year experience in financial market, Mr. Leung shared his analytical view on Forex investment, including USD, JPY, GBP and commodity prices.
