Environmental, social and governance (ESG) becomes a major agenda item among global financial institutions around the world. According to data from Morningstar, US research firm in financial services, assets in sustainable funds grew 53 per cent year-on-year to US$2.74 in 2021. The momentum is taking place in Asia because of regulatory requirements and increasing client demand.
 
According to 2021 research paper of “Careers of Tomorrow: Financial Talents in the Digital, Sustainable Economy in Hong Kong” by Hong Kong Financial Services Development Council, there is a strong demand of ESG skills in areas of ESG frameworks and regulations, design of ESG investment products and data science applications to ESG investing, reporting and disclosure.

The programme aims to provide students with the basic knowledge of business forecasting and essential skills in predictive analytics for financial decision making. The programme illustrates techniques of data exploration and regression analysis, and discusses computational tools used to perform business forecasting and predictive analytics. Students can learn how to apply business forecasting through case studies and perform predictive analytics through practical classes in computer laboratories.

This programme aims to provide students with the knowledge to investigate financial data which influences finance and investment decisions. Computer coding using Python will be discussed to handle data, build models and perform financial analysis quantitatively. The programme covers the applications of AI, Machine Learning and computerized algorithms to analyze trends and predict financial data.

This programme aims to provide students with cutting-edge information and practical experience to pursue a coaching career in youth sports, tertiary and Olympic or professional sports. Students in the programme will learn current practices in sport identification and development, coaching methodology, sport psychology, applied biomechanics, strength and conditioning, application of research, and the administration of sport programs. It will enhance their understanding of coaching programming to meet the specific needs of clients that they are supervising in the community. 

The Certificate for Module in Sport and Recreation Strategic Marketing provides students with the opportunity to develop a strategic understanding of marketing processes and practice from a service organization and sport and recreation management perspective. Students will be able to develop an appreciation of the skills of marketing through the study of examples and case studies from the world of sport and recreation.
