2019 Spring Prospectus is available!

The programme aims to: 

1. impart financial and investment management knowledge and skills to students to enhance their financial decision making;
2. facilitate students to understand and analyze contemporary issues as well as the latest development in the financial world;
3. prepare students to sit for the CFA examinations based on the Candidate Body of Knowledge;
4. equip students with the latest technologies on Big Data and Artificial Intelligence for financial industry;
5. stimulate students to apply financial intelligence to perform investment management.

The target student groups for this programme are financial services practitioners who need to understand treasury from the customer’s perspective and would like to pursue in-depth knowledge of banking and corporate treasury function in global financial markets. Practitioners such as front office dealers, specialists in treasury banking operations, corporate treasury specialists, treasury risk analysts, treasury management product analysts, treasury and pension officers, corporate treasury back office specialists, internal auditors in treasury operations, or consultants are suitable to attend the programme.

TMA will offer the TMA Level 2 (Full Member) membership to graduates who have successfully completed this programme.


 

Scholarship Initiative for Top Performers

To recognize academic excellence of students, a new scholarship initiative was offered by TMA.  Students who complete the full program, comprising all three modules, and achieve a distinction (cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above) will be awarded a TMA Scholarship of HK$2,000 for their outstanding performance.

The programme will primarily appeal to financial services executives who wish to equip themselves with latest knowledge in marine insurance for their professional advancement. The secondary target market includes business executives or new graduates who aim to take up opportunities in insurance sector with a focus of marine insurance.
 

Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) works together with the banking industry to introduce an industry-wide competency framework – Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) on Anti-money Laundering and Counter-financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) to support talent development in AML/CFT.  The syllabus will be provided by the Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) and this programme is offered for students to prepare for the ECF on AML/CFT Professional Level Examination.

This is a 10-hour short course to focus on  CFA level 2  exam questions.  Students are assumed to have the knowledge required for the CFA syllabus and this course will help them go through different type of questions step-by-step and the relevant tricks required to tackle these questions.

本課程將討論不同國家經濟數據的含義及其對期望與實際公佈的影響，並強調這些數據如何影響股票，利率和貨幣市場。

This cruise management degree programme aims to enable students to gain a thorough understanding of this unique employment area and have a critical awareness of the issues that underpin best practice. In addition, the programme enables students to develop vocationally relevant managerial skills needed for employment in the global cruise industry and the wider hospitality sector.
