English Skills Workshop for OLQE

For some lawyers English may stand as a key barrier to attempting the OLQE. In addition to intensive training in legal writing and drafting in our workshops dedicated to Heads I, II, III, and IV, as well as legal advocacy training for Head V, we offer a specialized English Skills Workshop tailored for candidates needing targeted support in legal English writing.

In this supplementary workshop our expert English trainer will focus on honing strategies and language skills critical for excelling in the Written Heads, enabling participants to build a strong linguistic foundation. During the English workshop, attendants will maximize learning outcomes and enhance exam readiness by understanding essential concepts underpinning exam topics; learning the art of structuring compelling, examiner-friendly answers in English; obtaining personalised feedback to address weaknesses; and learning how to avoid common errors in the Written Heads.

This workshop consists of a total of 21 hours, with each session lasting 3 hours. It will commence in Spetember before the subject-specific preparatory workshops.
