    Prof Sophia Law

    Prof Sophia LAW is a former Associate Professor in the Department of Visual Studies of Lingnan University. She is an art historian, researcher and advocate for the use of the arts for well-being. Her research interests include the nature of art, the origin and functions of art, art and trauma, art and well-being, community art, and Chinese art history. Ever since 2007, she has structured and completed many programs on studying the impacts and practices of art on people's well-being. Her publications include “The invisible citizens of Hong Kong: art and stories of Vietnamese boatpeople” (2014), “Colours of dementia” (2015) and “Art as intervention in serving secondary child victims of family violence” (2016).

    Ms Susanna Sin

    Ms. Susanna Sin graduated from Hong Kong Baptist College (now HKBU) with a journalism degree, and later earned a master's in politics from the University of York, UK. She began her career in journalism as a reporter and news anchor, before transitioning to public relations in 1996. Over the next 20+ years, she held various PR roles, including Head of Corporate Communications at Kowloon Motor Bus (KMB) from 2013-2016, where she served as the company spokesperson and editor-in-chief of its newsletter.

    Dr Vivian TSE Wai Chi

    Dr. Vivian Tse is currently the Programme Director of the Education Team and Docent Training Programme at HKU SPACE. She is the Founding President of the Hong Kong Docent Association, and the Chairman of the Tertiary Institution Section of the Hong Kong Teachers’Association. She has been invited to multiple schools, radio stations, the Education Bureau, and museums to voluntarily share her expertise in docent training and future development.

    Ms Liang Weichun has many years of experience teaching Putonghua. She teaches various Putnghua-related courses such as PSC pre-test training courses and Putonghua certificate courses at the HKU SPACE. Ms. Liang has taught at the Employees Retraining Board, The Cultural and Educational Association of the New Towns. She actively participates in social service activities to promote Putonghua and has served as the chief judge of the Chinese Language Festival Pinyin category and the chairman of the judging committee for Putonghua Public Speaking Competition for Primary and Secondary Schools organized by the Standing Committee on Language Education and Research (SCOLAR) for many years, and provided PSC training for the winners of the competition.

    Mr Jet Crawford, a very experienced native-speaking and qualified teacher with high English proficiency and good knowledge of the students’ needs. Mr Jet Crawford graduated with an Honours’ degree in English Literature and History from Sydney University. After obtaining his Diploma of Education there, he went on to teach in a variety of government and independent schools. Currently, Jet is an Adjunct Lecturer at HKU SPACE. He taught for fifteen years as a NET in Hong Kong schools where he had regular duties in preparing students for the HKCEE, Advanced Level Examination, and HKDSE. He specialises in oral exam preparation and equips students with the necessary skills for taking part in debating competitions and speech festivals.

    Dr Lo Kit-hung, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Philosophy at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He specialises in Yijing, Chinese Philosophy, Civics and Social and Political Philosophy, and is the author of the books "Thinking Strategy" (co-author) and "Critical Thinking" (co-author). Dr Lo is the founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Hong Kong Practical Philosophy Society, an Honorary Advisor of the Hong Kong Philosophical Practitioners Association, and a Certified Philosophical Consultant of the American Philosophical Practitioners Association. He is also the guest host of RTHK radio programme "Free as the Wind", and a guest host of Metro Radio.     Professor POON Ming Kay - Chairman of the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Honorary Research Fellow at the D.C.Lau Research Center for Chinese Ancient Texts of the Institute of Chinese Studies, Associate Master and Dean of General Education at Wu Yee Sun College, Associate Director of the University General Education; Vice President of The Federation of Hong Kong Writers. His research areas include Confucian literature, Classics from the Han and Tang dynasties, historical taboos, overseas Chinese texts, and natural history. He has been honored with the Vice-Chancellor’s Exemplary Teaching Award from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is the author of more than ten works, including "The Life Wisdom of Confucius".

    Representative of Elmond Tea Culture Association

    Founder of Muru Tea Studies, Master Yeung was an early pioneer in the study of Chinese tea in Hong Kong. With a profound commitment spanning over three decades, he explored the cultural origins of tea, conducted in-depth research, and actively advocated for tea education. In 2021, he collaborated with the HKU School of Professional and Continuing Education to launch the first Diploma in Chinese Tea Culture, offering a systematic tea study program that emphasizes both theory and practice. Following Master Yeung's passing, invaluable legacy in tea studies and his unwavering dedication to promoting Chinese cultural heritage will be faithfully upheld and continued by the Muru team.

    Mr Yu is an associate fellow and registered counselling psychologist of the Hong Kong Psychological Society. He is also the president, registered clinical supervisor and counsellor of Asian Professional Counselling and Psychology Association. He has been awarded Master of Social Sciences in Counselling Psychology with distinction by Hong Kong Shue Yan University, and has studied Family Therapy at HKU Family Institute. Upon his graduation, he has taught classes of personal growth, group counselling, abnormal psychology, social psychology, personality and individual differences, autism spectrum disorders. Mr Yu also works on research supervision and clinical supervision for local bachelor and master students. Mr. Yu specializes in analysing and solving personal, career and life issues people encounter in different life stages, and to provide comprehensive and preventive psychotherapy and counselling services with the help of psychological assessments to analyse one's talents and strengths.

    Sr Edward AU is a highly experienced senior estate surveyor who holds the Chartered Surveyor status and is a Fellow of both the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS). He has over 30 years of extensive experience in General Practice Surveying, specialising in property valuation, land administration, and planning and development of landed properties in Hong Kong. Edward has held several high-ranking positions, including the Hon Secretary and Senior Vice President of the General Council of the HKIS. He was also the Convener of the General Practice Division Council Education Committee of the HKIS, where he was responsible for member education and professional assessments for many years. Prior to his retirement from the HKSAR Government, Edward worked as a Senior Estate Surveyor, dealing with all types of land matters and property development in various government offices. Currently, he is working as a part-time Lecturer at HKU SPACE.

    Mrs Winnie Lee has over 30 years’ experience working in the education and counselling field. She started her career as a Social Worker in the Family Services of the Social Welfare Department in HK, then she was employed as a Child and Educational Psychologist in Australia for 9 years before working as a Counselling Psychologist in a local university for over 20 years. She now works privately as a counselling psychologist and a part-time lecturer cum clinical supervisor in local universities. With her many professional qualifications and extensive work experiences, Mrs Lee is well experienced in counselling cases of different nature including emotional problems, stress and anxiety, parenting, couple/family relationships, children with behavioural and emotional difficulties, mental health issues and other personal issues. She is knowledgeable in conducting a wide range of psychological assessments and training programmes for counsellors, teachers and parents.
